Wetland Webinar – Ócáid dátheangach – Bilingual Event

Eagrán speisialta le haghaidh Sheachtain na Gaeilge. Our next wetland  webinar will be a bi-lingual event, to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge,  exploring the work of communities involved in the promotion and protection of wetlands and peatlands.

On the night, we will hear from members of the CWF as they speak about their work. We will hear from:

• Ríonach Ní Néill from the group Ciotóg, speak about their peatland restoration initiative underway in south Connamara.
• Eugene Dunbar from ETHOS, Tyrrellspass, speak about their work to develop a boardwalk over the bog in Tyrrellspass
• Monica De Bath and her work with the Creative Rathangan Meitheal to create awareness of the local bog and all that live there, human and non-human.
